Providing End-To-End Renewable Solutions.
An End-to-End Renewable Energy Company
Xela Energy is a UK-based Enterprise Independent Power Producer (IPP) and the UK’s leading provider of private wire renewable energy solutions to industrial-scale power consumers – including data centres, industrial manufacturers and blue-chip technology organisations.
Our private wire solutions are technology agnostic and tailored to client needs. They combine solar PV, battery storage, wind, or hybrid systems as required. Each system is engineered to match your site’s load profile and resilience requirements, with performance guarantees built in to ensure consistent delivery and carbon reduction.
Designed with uptime in mind, our infrastructure strengthens operational resilience for mission-critical sites like data centres and manufacturing hubs, reducing exposure to grid outages, DNO connection delays, and supply-side risk.
We manage the entire process – funding, land identification and securitisation, permitting, grid strategy, construction, and long-term operation. Our in-house planning and grid teams fast-track project delivery, navigating complex permissions and DNO processes to reduce risk and shave months off lead times. Our land-first model secures viable sites near client operations before engagement, accelerating delivery timelines and simplifying the journey to net zero.
Unlike conventional green tariffs based solely on REGOs, our model provides dedicated renewable generation alongside REGOs, which we provide to our clients free of charge, enabling true additionality, full traceability, and audit-ready reporting for ESG, Scope 2, and compliance frameworks.
Xela Energy’s projects are:
- Fully funded and off-balance sheet
- Delivered turnkey with no client CapEx or risk
- Customised to reduce Scope 2 emissions and support Scope 3 goals
Partnering with Xela Energy means immediate, disruption-free land access secured from day one.
On average, a 20MW project saves over 4,800 tonnes of CO₂ per year — the equivalent of removing over 3,000 petrol vehicles from UK roads annually. Our power is additional, auditable, and ESG-ready — supporting RE100, SBTi and CDP reporting.

About True Green Capital – Our Funding Partner
True Green Capital Management LLC (“TGC”) is a private equity renewable infrastructure fund manager focused on distributed solar power generation and associated opportunities. The firm is based in Westport, Connecticut with an advisory office in London, England and an investment focus in the United States and Europe. The firm was founded in July 2011 and is led by a team of professionals with extensive experience and a demonstrated capacity to originate, finance, construct, and operate distributed renewable power generation projects.
TGC believes that increasing power prices, decreasing entry costs of distributed power generation technology and favorable regulatory environments in both the United States and Europe will continue to lead to compelling investment opportunities providing a stable cash flow stream with low correlation to the broader markets. TGC is currently focused on the approximately $2+ trillion* distributed power generation market across the United States and Europe with an emphasis on the distributed solar power segment. Thanks to rapid advancements in technology, the cost of distributed power generation, including solar, is now on par with traditional electricity generation sources. In many US states and key European jurisdictions, it represents one of the few sources of new power generation infrastructure that can be added to the power network quickly, reliably, and in a cost-efficient manner.
To date, TGC has invested into a distributed solar power generation portfolio across 17 US states, United Kingdom, and France, delivering clean, renewable energy.
